Tessa POV

We were sitting on the couch enjoying each other's company.

" Are you in any pain, my love?" Vance asked.

" No, not really." I stated.

I had some discomfort in my stomach but not much. My leg was throbbing. But I wasn't going to dwell on that. Truth be told, I was healing a lot faster. The wound on my leg had almost closed already. I probably could get the stitches out tomorrow or the
