Tessa's pov

The words land on my chest brutally and a shaky gasp leaves my throat.

"She's no one," he continues. "Wipe her off the face of this earth. Kill her."

Kill her.

Like I was nothing more than an annoyance that could be discarded. My ears ring so loudly I can barely hear my own breath and my knees start to give out but hands clasp my arms to hold me up. The pain I felt was strong.
