LYDIA’S POV

We walked into our bedroom and Callum shut the heavy wooden door quietly behind us.

He did not speak right away. Instead, he walked over to me, took my black leather bag from my hand, and set it down on the side table.

Then he stepped closer, his big hands moving gently to unbutton my suit jacket. He slid the coat off my shoulders and hung it up carefully in the closet.

Next, he knelt
