Evelyn started coughing hard, feeling that she was on the brink of death. Slowly, her consciousness began to slip away. Evelyn started smacking Maverick's arm. “I-I'll apologize...” stuttered Evelyn.

Maverick loosened his grip, and she slumped to the ground.
