We were back at his house. I took a long, hot shower and thanked him for not forcing a conversation, at least not yet. I put on one of his shirts and poured myself a glass of wine from his cellar. I sat in front of the huge windows that I loved, watching a light rain begin to fall. It was a beautiful Saturday. Maybe I should go home, read a book, or watch TV until I fall asleep.
