I pushed the uncomfortable exchange I had with Caleb to the back of my mind and drove to Fiona's office to sign my lease papers. I was surprised to find her already there before office hours, fresh, fashionable and perky.

After signing the papers, I invited Fiona for coffee. She politely declined saying she didn't have time because she needed to go see a potential client. She did promis
