Her eyes opened to find Valerio leaning over her, his hand on her thigh, immediately above the scrap of material which was her garter.

“Let me,” he whispered a breathy plea. “If this is what you really want before we get to the hotel, then let me.”

She nodded once as his eyes darkened to the point of almost being a deep violet color, a hint of red on his cheeks betraying his response to her brazen
