In the bedroom back at the villa, Iris closed the door and hugged Roman tightly from behind.

“All these years out there, a few times, I almost wanted to give up, but at the thought of you and the children… You’re my motivation that kept me alive… Luckily the children and I are back at your side now.”

Her tears soaked through Roman’s shirt and into his bare back.
