When Granny Knox left, Hazel came running into Sienna’s ward. She locked the door and buried herself in Sienna’s arms sobbing, aggrieved.

“Mommy, I don’t want to be away from you. Please don’t agree with Great-Granny. I’ll try to find a way to let you stay!”
