Chapter Thirty-Eight

I walked into the medical wing of the pack house. It was basically a tiny private hospital that Rylan had added when our mom was sick, so she could be home. He and Thalia were here with the babies.

I still carried a sleeping Rox, finally relinquishing her to the nurse in one of the private rooms. The nurse instructed me that Rylan and Thalia were two doors down.

I walked down the hall an
