The sudden voice startled me. I turned around to see Kaelen's familiar, stern face.

"Who I call doesn't seem to be any of your business, does it?" I stood up, frowning. "And you—why are you barging into my room? Ever heard of knocking?"

My usual attitude made Kaelen's expression darken.
