"What are you doing? Let go!" Serena exclaimed, her voice sharp with shock. She struggled, pushing against Declan's chest, desperate to keep him at bay.

Declan reeked of alcohol as he pinned her down, pressing his entire body against hers, leaving no space between them. His hot breath fanned against her ear.
