Calla’s POV

The sun had started to dip below the horizon by the time we pulled into the parking lot of a children’s clothing store that sat smack dab in the middle of a local shopping center. The sign above the window had a cartoon duck on it and read “Miss Bramble’s Emporium: Clothes for Tots and Tykes!”
