Sloane then whispered, “Don’t get so anxious, Tessa. I’m simply getting worried seeing that she’s alone in here.”

She stopped and said, “We’ve just reached an agreement. Why would I harass her?”

“What kind of agreement did you make, Tessa?” Vera asked worriedly.

“It’s nothing important, mom,” Tessa said. She didn’t believe in Sloane and asked her to leave.
