Kaelen:

The relentless, thumping bass of Club Obscura vibrated right through the reinforced glass of our second-floor office, rattling the floorboards beneath my boots. It was just another typical night in the city. Behind me, the soft clinking of chips and low murmurs filled the room as Cade, Beck, and Reid played their usual nightly poker game. Alistair and Sol had encouraged us to experience "life" and blend in after they took us in three years ago. Having a real family, a pack that actually existed and cared for us, felt fucking fantastic. Mama Elena cared about us, giving us actual names instead of the sterile numbers our original "Father" assigned to us, even though her time with us was cut short.

I leaned against the cool glass, scanning the packed, sweaty crowd below. My eyes immediately zeroed in on Rocco. He stood near the main bar, high-fiving Enzo over the polished counter. But Rocco wasn't alone. He had a breathtaking, plus-size Goddess tucked closely against his side. Enzo handed them two bright Blue Breezes. I watched them laugh, sipping their drinks with bright smiles before slipping away from the bar and heading toward the edge of the crowded dance floor. Rocco always played the smooth operator with the guys, but right now, he looked naturally relaxed around this woman.

She was a vision. Her gorgeous purply-blue locks cascaded down her shoulders in a perfect ombre, the flashing strobes of the club bouncing off the vibrant colors. Her deep, tanned skin flushed with a beautiful heat against the raging, sweltering temperature of the packed room. She wore a tight, strapless black club dress that clung to every single one of her mouth-watering curves. The dark fabric rode up her juicy thighs as she swayed to the heavy beat, forcing her to gracefully pull it back down before grinding her hips back against Rocco.

My breath hitched. Behind me, the poker chips stopped clinking. The silence in the office grew deafening. My brothers had dropped their cards, their eyes locked on the window. We were instantly, irrevocably spellbound by her. The pull was magnetic, wrapping around my chest and dragging me forward. I turned on my heel and headed straight for the quick-access stairs leading to the ground floor.

"Where are you going so fast?" Reid’s amused laughter echoed through our shared mental link, the sound tickling my sensitive hearing over the booming bass.

I ignored him. I hit the ground floor and pushed my way through the raging crowd, scanning through the overwhelming waves of cheap alcohol and raw arousal radiating from the patrons. As I closed the distance, the air shifted. A mouth-watering scent sliced through the stale club air. Warm spice and fresh rain. The aroma washed over me, rushing straight into my lungs and triggering an intense, tingling static charge that snapped across every inch of my skin. My beast clawed at the surface. Blood rushed south with punishing force, pooling thick and heavy in my groin until my cock strained hard and aching against the zipper of my jeans.

Rocco stopped a few feet in front of me, raising a perfect brow in confusion.

"What are you doing, Kaelen?" Rocco’s megawatt smile beamed brightly against the strobing club lights and the deep, penetrating bass rattling my ribs.

"Who you got with you tonight?" I demanded, my voice a low rumble. I looked past his shoulder just in time to catch the Goddess slipping past us. Her hips bounced playfully to the heavy beat, heading back toward the bar where Enzo waited to refill her drink with a sickeningly sweet smile.

"She’s new in London," Rocco explained, holding my intense gaze without flinching. "So I offered to show her a good time on her very first night."

I watched her lean against the bar, her lush body melting into the rhythm of the bass. The shadows around us shifted. My brothers materialized out of the swaying blanket of drunken bodies, stepping up right behind me.

"What is that smell?" Beck murmured, sniffing the air like a tracking hound. Reid and Cade locked eyes on the Goddess in the black dress just as she turned around to grab her fresh drink. Enzo caught our collective, predatory stares. He froze for a second, the glass hovering in his hand, until we gave him a sharp nod to serve her.

"Don't scare her," Cade’s warning growl vibrated through our mental link. "She’s human."

I felt the warm static charges snapping along our bodies, a shared physical reaction binding us together. The raw need pounding in our veins was undeniable. She turned from the bar and politely slipped past our massive frames, her soft voice whispering a sweet "Excuse me" that sent another jolt of lightning straight to my dick. She threw her hands up in a carefree embrace as the music dropped into a heavy beat, disappearing into the swarming, shifting crowd of dancing, grinding bodies.

"You have her number. I know it," I stated, turning my focus back to Rocco.

Rocco sighed and attempted to step around me to follow her toward the restrooms, but Beck and Cade moved faster. They firmly slammed their heavy hands onto his shoulders, pinning him in place against the flow of the crowd.

"Seriously, guys," Rocco warned, his tone dropping the playful edge. "She is studying at the Fine Arts school. You can find her there, but let her be tonight. Mama Elena sensed her silent turmoil on the plane. She’s dealing with deep internal trauma."

That bit of information perked our brows. Mama Elena was in town, which meant we could find a way to subtly ask about our curvy little kitten without showing our hand. But right now, patience was not an option.

"Just give me the damn number, Rocco," I demanded, stepping into his personal space, my eyes flashing. "And keep her safe tonight."

Rocco held my gaze for a long moment before reaching into his pocket. He pulled out his phone, his thumbs flying across the screen. A second later, my phone vibrated in my back pocket. I pulled it out, checking the screen to confirm a text from Rocco with a string of digits. I gave him a curt nod, signaling Beck and Cade to release him.

Smiling darkly under the raging lights, my brothers and I turned away. We weaved our way back through the drunken crowd in a silent, coordinated rush, desperate to get back to our vantage point. We slipped up the stairs and piled back into our office, gathering shoulder-to-shoulder at the large viewing window. Below us, her energetic smile radiated through the packed club, lighting up the sea of sweaty, jiving bodies.

"She’s gorgeous," Cade hummed, his voice dark and raspy.

Beck walked over to the cabinet, grabbed a bottle of bear-shine, and poured four heavy glasses. He handed them out as Reid stepped over to the wall switch, dimming the office lights so we could watch our curvaceous little kitten without being seen from the floor.

"Rocco’s lucky he’s gay, or he would have been knocked out cold on the floor," Reid snarled lowly.

Our mental link flooded with a crazy, chaotic heat. The air in the room thickened rapidly, becoming heavy with shared, overwhelming lust. Four massive, hard cocks throbbed in unison, pressing painfully against our denim. The raw scent of our arousal filled the office like a dense fog.

"Jesus! Air this place out," Killian’s dark laugh broke the silence from the office doorway. He waved his hand playfully in front of his face, scrunching his nose as he stepped inside and joined us at the viewing window.

I took a hard swig of the shine. The fiery liquid burned a trail down my throat, offering a brief, subtle distraction from the burning ache consuming my groin. I kept my eyes locked on the dance floor, drinking in every single inch of her body as we stood in the shadows, watching her like a pack of silent stalkers.

"So, what’s got the juices flowing?" Killian asked, leaning back against the glass. He looked at us with a shit-eating grin. His black locks sat in a neat faux hawk, enhancing those jaded-crimson eyes that constantly screamed 'Take me, I'm yours'.

Killian had been spending a lot of time with the elder circle lately. Lyra was bound to them after her stunt with Mina, so Killian hung around there, periodically bringing us new tattoo masterpieces that Lyra enjoyed designing. Lady Morgaine always said Lyra's artworks were a true display of her magic, fitting for a long line of magical tattoo artists.

"How’s Lyra?" Beck asked, leaning back with a dark smirk. My eyes refused to leave my seductive kitten. She was grinding and laughing with Rocco, her body moving with a natural, intoxicating rhythm as the night slowly dragged on and the crowd began to disperse.

"She’s bored like always, but sends hugs and kisses," Killian replied, crossing his arms. "So, are you going to answer my question? What’s got your juices flowing? Hmm..."

Killian’s eyes flickered between the four of us. We didn't say a word. We just pointed out toward the dance floor with bright, predatory smiles, ignoring the painful throbbing in our pants.

"Find Rocco," Reid instructed with a dark laugh.

Killian scanned the sparse crowd below, coughing into his fist to hide his amusement as his eyes finally landed on our target. We stood in silence, sipping our shine.

"Is that an actual female he is dancing with?" Killian laughed, turning around and leaning his elbows on the sill with a highly amused expression.

"She’s new in town," Beck explained, a strange, possessive glow radiating from his face. "And apparently, she had the pleasure of meeting Mama Elena on her flight over."

Killian perked a curious brow, studying our rigid postures. "You four are acting strange. What’s really going on here?"

He nailed it. We all shared the exact same shit-eating expression as the club slowly approached closing time.

"Should we tell him?" Cade linked to us mentally. We glanced over at Killian, knowing damn well he could read us like open books. He always claimed to have this perfect 'brotherly vibe' with us. Alistair and Sol had adopted us shortly after we began staying with them, granting us the Vesperbourne surname. Killian instantly became part of our tight-knit brotherhood, including himself in every single detail, good or bad, of our chaotic lives.

"Look, I know you guys don't have the purest pasts," Killian said, pointing a sarcastic finger at my chest to emphasize his point. "But from the looks of this, that little thing down there has triggered something serious. So spill. Because let’s face it, you’re hovering right on the edge of stalker territory by standing here in the dark watching her sway, especially since you’re normally laid back all the time."

"Small complication," Cade sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose with a scrunched-up expression. "She’s human."

"Your point?" Killian rebutted instantly. "Lyra is classified as human with supernatural powers as a Witch."

We turned away from the window, leaning against the sill with our legs crossed, pondering the reality of the situation.

"The way I see it," Killian continued, waving his hands around like a drunken Italian. "If Mama Elena allowed Rocco to bring her out on the town, knowing full well how flamboyant he is and how wild his party life gets, then she must have sensed something special about that young lady down there. She wanted someone to discover her. Take the chance, guys. Pursue her. Learn about her. Get to know her. But whatever you do, don't just stand up here and mope until some other swinging dick steps in and sweeps her away."

Killian flashed a dark smirk, looking over his shoulder toward the glass. "Why don't you start now?" he added, pointing his thumb toward the floor.

We snapped our heads around. Down by the main doors, Rocco was carrying her in his arms. She was giggling wildly, waving her hands around in a full-on drunken stupor as he headed for the exit.

"Shit!" we shouted in unison.

Panic exploded in the room. Reid lunged across the desk, grabbing the keys to our blacked-out Range Rover. We darted out the office door, scrambling down the back access stairs like frantic sailors abandoning a sinking ship. We dropped to our feet at the bottom, shooting quick, desperate looks around the wet alleyway. The heavy London rain pelted the pavement. The Range Rover chirped as it unlocked. Killian was already leaning against the rear door, looking like a total smartass.

"You forgot me," Killian laughed darkly. He crawled into the back seat of the massive SUV as Reid threw himself behind the wheel. We piled in, slamming the heavy doors shut while the vehicle was already in motion.

Reid threw the shifter into reverse. The tires screeched wildly, slipping on the slick, rain-coated blacktop before finding traction. He slammed the brakes, throwing the SUV into drive.

"Jesus fucking Christ, Reid!" we growled in unison, struggling to regain our composure after the abrupt, violent stop. Our heads smacked off the leather headrests, our heavy limbs colliding in the cramped cabin.

I rubbed the fresh knot forming on my forehead, letting out a low, snarling hiss.

"Look!" Reid commanded, gripping the steering wheel tight as he stared through the rain-streaked windshield. Beck leaned forward from the back, smirking evilly over the passenger seat.

We snapped our attention forward just in time to see Rocco standing by his Mini Cooper. He gently tucked our very drunk kitten into the front passenger seat, flashing a bright smile as he clicked her seatbelt into place. He closed the door and jogged around to the driver's side, shielding his head from the downpour.

"Fucking Christ!" Killian laughed darkly from the back seat. We couldn't help but chuckle at the sheer absurdity of the situation. The tiny, blacked-out Mini Cooper, sporting its infamous British flag painted on the roof, peeled away from the curb and began weaving through the slick city traffic.

"Don't lose him," Cade demanded, smacking the back of Reid's seat in raw excitement.

Reid gripped the wheel, his jaw set tight. He stomped on the gas, the Range Rover's massive engine roaring to life. We cut ruthlessly through the heavy rain and the late-night drivers, tailing the tiny piece of shit car as Rocco zipped effortlessly through the winding streets.

Suddenly, a sharp vibration against my thigh broke my intense focus.

Buzz... Buzz...

I dug into my pocket, pulling out my phone. The screen lit up the dark cabin, revealing a brand-new text message from Rocco.
