Sienna watched in aggravation. When she saw that Damian had left, she refused Leo’s support and instead turned to me. “Adeline Vance, you did that on purpose.”

I said, “Sorry, but it wasn’t on purpose.” I pulled her earlier by reflex.

Leo sent Sienna away. When Damian came out of the office, he held a first-aid kit in hand and crouched beside me.
