Elodie’s POV

The feeling hit me again the moment I stepped into the compound…that strange, heavy weight on the back of my neck. It was accompanied by the prickle of my wolf, something that told me someone was watching.

It was like a subtle twist in the air. My wolf, now obviously agitated, shifted restlessly beneath my skin, a low, uneasy growl rumbling in the back of my mind.
