Scandal

Camilla forced her eyes open. A dull throb pounded behind her temples, the undeniable consequence of operating on barely any sleep. She rubbed her face against the soft pillow, trying to ground herself. Staying up until three in the morning was a terrible idea, but at least it was the weekend. She did not have to rush to the office.

She blinked, trying to clear the lingering blur from her vision.
