Chapter 55 – An unexpected attack

Maeve heard the gossips and quickly glanced at Torin who looked like he was ready to attack and kill everyone. It was as if he was afraid, they were going to take Maeve from him, and it made Maeve laugh upon seeing the jealousy burning through his veins to his eyes.
