“ Why are you zoning out? ” I sip on my apple juice and eye Mason, who is sitting beside me.

I was lazying around in the backyard when he decided to show up out of nowhere and dropped beside me without asking permission.

“ Me? Zoning out? ” He rolls his eyes and leans back. “ I never do that. It’s below me to daydream. ”
