I run a hand down Mila’s pink princess dress. She giggles excitedly and twirls around for me to admire her.

“ Itsh the besht dress ever, Mommy. ” She yells enthusiastically.

I smile. She has been happier since she got here. Alpha Declan gets her everything I couldn’t. It makes me feel bad as a mother that I was not capable of doing this for her myself but at the same time, I can’t complain
