Two days later, I cry over jeans. Not because they’re special jeans. They aren’t my favorite pair, and they aren’t even expensive. They’re just the first ones I grab from the back of the closet while both newborns are finally asleep, the older twins are at Garrett and Elowen’s house for a few hours, and Lachlan’s downstairs sanitizing bottles like he’s trying to win an award for it.

I only
