Viv 39- Reacting and recounting

As promised, Mal is on my doorstep at ten in the morning. I just wear my normal clothes this time. Jeans and a soft blue t-shirt. I’m not planning to actually work the bar today so it doesn’t matter too much. But these are the clothes that I’m used to. Regardless, Mal greets me cheerfully and complements me so enthusiastically I have to work not to turn a magnificent shade of red.
