I blinked and lifted my face. Dominic was standing in front of me, looking at me with furrowed brows. His jaw was clenched and his lips were pressed together. He was holding my arm, as if he had been trying to wake me up from a bad dream.

Right! I was having a bad dream while wide awake. A frightening dream, no, it's a nightmare.
