“May I know your blood type, Mr and Mrs. Vance?”

“I’m O positive,” Beatrice answered.

“I’m B positive,” Gideon answered.

The nurse looked at them alternately with confusion, “Uh…your son’s blood type is AB negative. I don’t think either of you can donate.”
