Maisie was tired from all the activities in the party so when we reached home, she’s already fast asleep on the backseat.

I glanced at her before I bore my gaze back to the car in front of me. There’s a man standing beside the car, looking at me.

I don’t know why he’s here but I don’t have the energy to argue with him.

I got out of the car and he immediately approached me. “Valerie…”
