My heart almost jumped out of my chest when I heard Maisie’s voice behind me. I bit my bottom lip, panicking as I turned around and looked at Maisie. I took an awkward sigh and smiled at her.

“Sweetie!”

I’m pretty sure she saw what happened between me and Arthur but she smiled sweetly and glanced at Arthur standing in silence behind me.

“Is he Prince Arthur, mommy?”
