Chapter 30 The Long Cold Dark Night

Gideon’s POV

I couldn’t stop myself from following Valerie. I drove slowly, following her car as anger dripped in every part of me. She slowed down and I stopped my car a few meters away from her. I don’t know what she’s doing but I could clearly see that she’s bowing her head down.

I squinted my eyes, trying to figure out what she was doing until she sat straight and I saw her wiping something fr
