“Sorry Zarek.” I said sheepishly hugging him gently.

He was stubborn, refusing to get medical care, but the vampires knocked him out so they could fix his neck. That was Alviss’s request. Aldric did it because they both like to exchange favors. Now Alviss would have to do something for Aldric. I had no idea what though.

He playfully growled at me. “I bite.” He warned.

Zarek let me touch his
