I’d been restless since midnight. It was now 5am, but I was up for the day, doing some catchup work on my computer that I left for myself when I went to bed at 6 yesterday. I had office hours from 9 to 5, but no Alpha I’d ever known kept that. We usually came early or stayed over. The only way I’d leave my office was if there was an attack.
