After Odette and Richard left, Marcella checked Alaric's pulse again. "Your pulse is steady. You just need to get some rest," she said.

Marcella then gave Tobias a few tips on caring for Alaric before she and Sylvia left the ward together.

Sylvia followed Marcella out of the hospital in a daze. Everything that had happened today felt surreal to her. However, her view of Marcella had shifted sign
