"And what do we think about this one?" Joy asked, resting against the kitchen counter with a critical expression on her face.

I sighed, glancing around the apartment again, attempting to look at it more positively. The apartment itself wasn't terrible—it had high ceilings, good natural light, and a somewhat contemporary kitchen. But the second bedroom was too small, the area was too quiet,
