Roman nodded without speaking. After glancing at the dried blood on her arm, he told Clara, "Take her to the hospital to treat that wound."

Clara nodded automatically.

On the way to the hospital, Clara drove while Sloane and Maeve sat in the back. Everything was over, and Sloane was exhausted.
