Declan didn't answer right away.

After a moment of contemplation, he nodded. "If you insist, then I can only express my regret."

He'd rather not cooperate than hand Sloane over to them.

Damon and Gianna were stunned.

Damon looked at him in disbelief. "She's just a secretary, and you care about her that much?"

Declan was silent for a brief moment, but his tone was firm. "She's not just a secretary.
