Trapped Together

"Open the door!" Cleo pounded her bruised fists against the heavy, unyielding wood of the storeroom door. The dull thuds echoed in the pitch-black space. "Please! I didn't do anything to you!"

She screamed, her voice tearing through the suffocating darkness. She pressed her ear against the cold surface, desperately hoping someone in the athletic building would hear her. But no help came. Her brea
