I budged into the hospital doors and ran to the reception. “My wife, where is she!” the woman behind the desk looked scared by my outburst. “Madeline Kincaid, I was called and told she was in an accident. Now tell me where the hell she is?” her eyes widened. “Oh, Mr Kincaid, she is in the intensive care unit on the third floor.”

I rushed to the elevator, and I got there just as it closes.
