Chapter Forty-Three - Later than planned.

The plan to stay for only a short time didn’t work. Despite our efforts, we were unable to get away early. It’s close to two in the morning. I never expected to stay this late. I thought we would be done by eleven or earlier.

“We should have left when we had the chance.” Harrison says, irritated as we make our way back to his in the car.

I felt bad he called a driver to come and get us at th
