“Where in the hells does he think he’s going?” Kaelar asked sharply. “Fucking coward. I’m going to beat his ass.”

“Wait,” Ari said. He looked at me. Tears were falling down as I blinked, even when I met Ari’s gaze. He stared at me for a long time, while Kaelar huffed impatiently. Then, finally, he added, “I’ll go and talk to him.”
