A sharp, persistent tapping on my driver’s side window dragged me out of a heavy, alcohol-induced sleep. I groaned, my head throbbing with a fierce, rhythmic pulse that made my vision blur. My neck was twisted at an awkward angle against the center console, the muscles tight and screaming in protest as I sat up. I squinted through the condensation on the glass. Arthur stood out
