“Kels, do you think this pack is going to be better?” Lisa asked me. We were all in the van together, at least those of us who had decided to go to the Shadow Creek pack with Alpha Callan.

“I think so,” I answered softly while looking out of the window. “Alpha Callan seems too genuine when he says we can all have a better life in his pack,”
