I plan to take a walk around the metro today, but Zarek won’t agree. I hate being confined in this house for so long, all in the name of staying safe.

Although things have been surprisingly calm between us, I still believe that all the care he shows me is out of sympathy for my situation. But despite that, I find myself missing him whenever he’s not around.
