I woke up, realising it was nighttime. I was still snuggled in Maddox's arms, so much for wanting to go to the park. I smiled and wanted to wake him up, but he was lying peacefully in bed. I knew if I kissed him, he would wake, so I stealthily got off the bed and went into the shower. It wasn't long when I started bathing that Maddox joined in. He groaned and kissed his mark on my neck.

"We
