I pulled away from the kiss to meet Malachai's shocked expression.

"Wow, what in the hell? I didn't expect that things would kick off so soon between us."

He tried to catch his breathe, clearly in awe.

"Me neither," I shrugged and reconnected our

lips, I don't know if it's the alcohol or the way I could feel Kaelen Vexton's gaze burning through my face.

"I better get us a room," Malachai chuckled
