I pulled back just a fraction of an inch, my lips still heavily brushing against hers with every ragged breath we took. I stared down into her darkened, heavily dilated eyes, witnessing the exact moment my dark promise registered in her mind. But before I could completely lose myself in the immediate violent urge to take her right there against the vanity, I forced myself to step back
