The Mouth that Speaks

A knock at the door sounded causing Cyrus to stir. Their bodies were still interned together in a comforting embrace.

He waited a second before removing himself and pulling on his pants. When he opened the door Gid stood there waiting.

“The prisoner is waking up,” Gid told him wasting no time. Like Cyrus, he had had little sleep. More than the night before but not much.
