I told Conrad that my grandfather had grey eyes and this thing must have skipped a generation. He bought it completely. I managed to dodge the bullet.

But this lie could be exposed any second.

If anyone performed a paternity test, or simply did a blood type test on Ronin, they would easily find out that Conrad was not the father.

Then I’d never be Luna. Ronin would never be the heir.
