Dax grabbed the rope and strode over to Bria.

"Dax, what are you doing?" Bria froze, momentarily stunned. She hadn't expected him to actually come over to restrain her.

"Don't listen to Kaelie. I'm your sister!"

"A cousin, and not even a close one," Dax replied icily.

"Dax." Bria couldn't believe he was truly following Kaelie's orders.

She attempted to evade him, but Dax caught her effortlessly, a
