I tap the screen and scroll through the notification bar—three from Richard, two from Julian, four from my housekeeper, and an unknown number. I clear the last one off the log before dialing Richard's number.

The familiar voice comes through the line after the second ring.

"I was about coming over to your house. Where have you been, man?"
